Can a jumpsuit be called dreamy? Because that is exactly how I’d call this little denim number.
Jumpsuits are slowly overtaking the number of dresses I currently have hanging up in my wardrobe, which has even come as surprise to myself as I’ve never before thought of myself as a jumpsuit girl. But now I’m asking myself, how have I gone this long without wearing them before?!
As you’re well aware, I love nothing more than an easy outfit to throw on each morning but still look presentable, put together and fashionable at the same time. I’ve recently learnt that jumpsuits are the way forward! They spark conversation too, and I can’t believe how many compliments I receive around the office when I’m wearing one. Maybe it’s because they’ve never before been seen as an office appropriate style, but I’m happy that stereotype is slowly being broken!
This jumpsuit ticks off a number of trends, the main one being the soft denim farbric which is back and bigger than ever this Spring/Summer (although when did it leave?!), but the ruffle detailing on the shoulders also keeps it up to date.
I love pieces that pull me in at the waist, and I can either make a pretty bow at the front or tie it at the back instead which gives it a smarter, more professional look. This would be my look for a casual Friday or if I was heading out for a dressed down team event.
