Welcome to a brand new monthly series on She Goes Wear! Each month I will be choosing a different brand and styling their pieces to create 5 office ready outfits from Monday-Friday.
The brand I’ve chosen for August is Reiss, a brand I’ve loved ever since I started work in the City 10 years ago! I learnt from the beginning how important it is to invest in good quality staple items for work. Although I wasn’t earning much money back then, I still saved up and treated myself to the odd piece from Reiss every couple of months, because I knew they would last and I was right because I still have some of them hanging up in my wardrobe now! The cost per wear speaks for itself.
Monday calls for a fierce outfit to kick start the week, so I’m wearing this gorgeous knitted pencil skirt which makes me feel super confident walking into the office. The material is thick enough to hug your figure in the most flattering way, without showing up any lumps or bumps. It pulls me in at the waist and has a subtle cut up the back to make walking effortless and comfortable.
I’ve paired the pencil skirt with a simple silk top and nude heels to create the perfect outfit for the heatwave we’re having right now in the UK. When Autumn approaches, I can swap the vest top for a shirt and blazer over the top.
Wishing you a happy Monday. See you tomorrow!
