My name is Dorothy, and this is my little blog!
She Goes Wear aims to inspire and motivate women in business, featuring workwear style inspiration as well as tips and tricks for work, travel and everything in between!
Where do you live?
I live in Essex but spend the majority of my time in London where I commute into for work Monday-Friday.
What do you do as a job?
I work in Insurance as an Underwriter. I began working in Insurance after I finished college at the age of 18, and have been working in the industry for 9 years now.
Why did you start She Goes Wear?
I’ve been reading blogs for years, and had always thought to myself “I could do this”, but I didn’t quite know what I wanted to blog about. The worry of what people I know would think held me back too, which looking back now I’m annoyed with myself about! In July 2013, I finally plucked up the courage to publish my first post.
It was after a couple of years of blogging about general lifestyle with the odd style post, that I decided to turn She Goes Wear into a place for working women to come for inspiration. I cover all categories from workwear to travel and everything in between.
I’ve always loved dressing up for work. When Victoria Beckham once said “I can’t concentrate in flats”, I felt she was reading my mind. I genuinely can’t! Anyway, I found that finding inspiration when it came to putting together a stylish outfit for work was tough. It was whilst shopping for workwear clothing and completely lacking inspiration, that I discovered the need for a workwear inspired blog. She Goes Wear aims to fill that gap, inspire and make it easier to shop professional yet stylish outfits for the office, whatever the budget.
What camera do you use?

Thank you for stopping by!
I occasionally use affiliate links when linking specific products. This means that I will receive a very small commission if a product is bought through a link found on my blog.
If I’m lucky enough to work with a brand I love, I will always give full disclosure in the specific blog post, so you’ll know it’s sponsored.
I am occasionally lucky enough to receive products to sample/review, but I would never write about or accept anything that I didn’t believe in or felt didn’t fit with my blog’s style and content. This is something I feel very strongly about, therefore I only feature products that I genuinely love!
