Catch up through Instagram

I’ve been particularly snap happy on Instagram recently, so I wanted to post a little catch up through the eyes of my Instagram account! There’s only so much I can cram into the little caption below each picture on the app, so I thought I would take you through what I have been up to recently.

A couple of weeks ago my friends and I hopped on a tube to Oxford Street for a little browse in the iconic Selfridges. Their sparkling lights and famous shop windows instantly put me in the mood for Christmas (not that I wasn’t before, I don’t think there is a time of the year that I’m not in the mood for Christmas!).

The main reason for wanting to visit Selfridges was to have a look at the Charlotte Tilbury stand, which I spent far too long browsing around. We also had a look around their shoe department , dipping in and out of the boutiques.

You cannot beat Selfridges at Christmas time!

When we heard there was a bar in London where you can play ping pong, we had to go! So last Thursday we got a taxi into Shoreditch at lunch and spent our afternoon trying to throw ping pong balls into cups, which was surprisingly hilarious. I hadn’t laughed so much in so long! I can’t wait to go back!

We finished off our night at Sushi Samba for some of the best cocktails in London. I had a cosmo, obviously ๐Ÿ˜‰

After a hectic couple of weeks, a weekend away couldn’t have come at a better time. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Hertfordshire where we relaxed at Champneys Spa. What I love about spas is that you can spend your entire time in your robe and slippers, roaming around without a care in the world! We returned feeling relaxed and refreshed, ready for a new week.

My friend Ellise invited all the girls over to her place on Saturday for a spot of afternoon tea, and when we arrived we couldn’t believe the spread she had put on for us. Well, I tell a lie, we could believe it because she’s a domestic goddess when it comes to entertaining!

We ate our body weight in crustless sandwiches, scones with excessive amounts of clotted cream and jam, cakes and macaroons. We couldn’t quite manage finishing it all off, so I took home a doggie bag to the boyfriend who was more than happy with the contents!
