Sushi Samba / Old Bengal Bar

My good friend Tram is moving to Colombia next week so the girls from work and I decided we would send her off in style on what would be her last night out in London before she moves.

We started off at the heron tower and wizzed 38 floors up to Sushi Samba.

We ordered a few nibbles, including these…

I literally could have eaten hundreds of these battered green beans, they were amazing!

We also ordered some fried plantain, rock shrimp tempura and japanese roast beef topped with fois gras and fried quail egg, which were all absolutely delicious.

As the sun began to set, the tree lit up the terrace in beautiful shades of orange. We finished our drinks and discussed where we’d go next.

This is the view from the lift on the way down. Sushi Samba is worth a trip for the beautiful views alone…

A group shot, which will definitely be going into a frame. I’ve only just noticed that we are all crouching down for some reason in this photo, and it made me giggle!

We decided to walk around the corner to Old Bengal Bar for some music and of course more cocktails.

You can’t beat a cosmopolitan. An oldie but a goodie…

My little diva Tram, you are the most fabulous person I know! I’m going to miss you so much. I can’t wait to come and visit you in Colombia!
