As you may have read in my previous post, my good friend Ailis got hitched a few weeks ago and being the true fashionista that she is, walked down the
catwalk aisle in the most beautiful pair of Malono Blahnik’s I’ve ever seen…
You may recognise them, as they were the same shoes Carrie Bradshaw wore when she wed Mr Big (yes, I convince myself that she is a real life person!)
When it came to choosing what to buy Ailis and Tom for their wedding gift, I spent ages trying to decide on what to get.
It’s always a tricky one. I wanted to get them something unique. Something they would want to cherish forever.
I was looking through Not On The High Street website (my new obsession), when I came across a beautiful custom illustration of the Bride and Groom’s shoes by Tinker & Tailor. So beautiful in fact, I just had to share it with you all…
All you have to do is include a link to the bride’s wedding shoe, pick what colour the groom’s shoe is and she hand paints them both side by side.
You can also have their names written inside each shoe and their wedding date.
The bride’s shoes are usually overlooked, hidden beneath the focus point which is the wedding dress, but the magical thing about this gift is that Ailis can now be forever remembered of her ‘something blue’.
I hope this has helped anyone who is looking for a unique wedding gift for any stylish bride!
