Casual Summer Styling

With 5 minutes to spare before I had to leave the house, I was raiding my wardrobe the other day desperately trying to find something to wear. This is so typical of me. I just assume I can throw together an outfit within minutes, yet end up spending so long deciding.

In my panic I pulled out a dress I forgot I even owned. Don’t you love that? It’s like buying something new all over again. This particular dress was from Zara, bought a good 3 or 4 years ago now. They brought them out in loads of different colours, and I think I had all of them in my wardrobe at some point. One of them I wore to death, literally, the zip ripped and the colours began to fade after so many washes, so with a heavy heart I had to throw it away. This is the last one that remains and I adore it. It’s the ideal Summer dress that can be worn casual or dressed up for an evening out.

I was on my way to a relaxed family dinner, so I paired it with block heels and my fringed bag to keep things casual.

Although I was running over 15 minutes late, I still managed to get a few outfit shots in before we left!

As this dress is a few years old, it’s not available to buy anymore, but there are usually always a couple on eBay for sale so it’s worth checking just in case. Type in “Zara Tulip Dress” with your fingers crossed. If that fails, I’ve browsed online and found some similar dresses below!
