Mauritius Travel Vlog

If you were reading my blog last year, you may remember my posts in April from our trip to Mauritius. As well as snapping away with my camera throughout the two weeks we were there, I also took a lot of video clips too.

The lovely couple we met whilst we were there had a go-pro with them, which we stole a couple of times, especially during our trip to swim with wild dolphins (you’ll see the incredible under water footage in the video).

I’d been meaning to put them all into one big video, but life just got in the way and before I knew it, almost a year had past and they were still sitting unappreciated in the files on my laptop!

After the festive period is over and a brand new year has begun, January is the month that has everyone wanting to book a holiday to have something to look forward. Just the mere thought of being in the sun gets everyone through the month! It was whilst I was daydreaming of Summer the other day and looking back at photos of Mauritius that reminded me how much I wanted to finish editing the video. It’ll be amazing in years to come to look back, watch our adventures and have all those memories instantly come flooding back.

So, it may be 9 months late, but here is it! I’ve crammed two weeks of memories into a 6 minute video. From walking with lions to swimming with wild dolphins, Mauritius really was the holiday of a lifetime and if anyone is thinking about visiting, I highly recommend. I would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed at LUX* Grand Gaube, a resort I would describe as perfect. The wonderful staff couldn’t do more for us, going above and beyond to make our stay the best we have ever experienced. Once again, I highly recommend if you’re looking to visit Mauritius.

I hope you enjoy my video! Do you enjoy watching travel type vlogs?
I’m looking at producing more in the future, the first being in a couple of weeks on my skiing trip to Val D-Isere. We bought our own go-pro at the weekend and we cannot wait to test it out! Hopefully it won’t just contain clips of me falling over every two minutes…!
