A Week At Work In Dorothy Perkins | Tuesday

As soon as I tried on this navy and pink boucle dress, I instantly felt so chic and elegant. It’s such a timeless, classic style that can be pulled out of the wardrobe year after year. I fell in love with the fringe detailing around the neck and hemline. I decided to brave no tights and pop on a pair of white ankle boots to make my outfit pop. For an alternative look when the temperature really drops, simply wear with black tights and black ankle boots.
Although this dress is made from such a high quality, thick fabric which I knew would keep me warm, I obviously needed a Winter coat over the top. This pastel number pulls the subtle pink from dress and brings the entire outfit together. It felt like a hug when I put it on as the material is so unbelievably soft and snuggly! This coat also comes in two different colours, a gorgeous dark green shade and navy too.
I finished off my look with a rose padlock bag that can also be styled as a crossbody too. I have a major obsession with structured bags and this one looks so much more expensive than it’s price tag.
Dressing for work doesn’t always have to be so serious, and this outfit demonstrates that you can look smart and professional in a playful colour palette.
I really hope this look inspires you to introduce more colour into your workwear wardrobe, and hopefully you notice a different in how you feel during the day as a result!
