A Week At Work In Dorothy Perkins | Wednesday

I worked this look around these beautiful geometric ankle grazer trousers which I completely fell in love with as soon as I laid eyes on them. Patterns are a must for a workwear wardrobe, as they’re the easiest way of injecting style into an outfit. They’re high waisted and easy to move around in – two things I look for in trousers! To keep my look casual and also because I want to be cosy during the day, I threw on this camel crew neck jumper which is ridiculously soft and snuggly.
To finish off the look, and also in case I need to run some errands during lunch, I slipped on these navy court heels. I’m such a “heels” girl, and would choose them over flats every single day of the week. I’ve always felt more empowered and confident wearing heels, so I’ve always worn them with everything! Block heels are a must for me at work, as they provide more support and help me last an entire day in them!
What I love about this look is how easy I can mix and match the pieces to create lots of separate looks for both at work and the weekend. These trousers would look ultra-chic with a white silk blouse tucked in, or even with a white slogan tee and trainers outside of the 9-5.
