Why A Jumpsuit Should Be Your New Workwear Go-To This Season

Why A Jumpsuit Should Be Your Workwear Go-To This Season

Until recently, jumpsuits weren’t really given a thought when it comes to workwear. In all the 10 years I worked in the City, I only remember seeing around a handful of women rocking a jumpsuit in the office. Although they weren’t strictly forbidden, I think they were just always thought to be too casual for a corporate environment.

Thankfully, this is slowly changing! A lot of go-to brands for workwear have added more and more office-worthy jumpsuits to their collections over the years, and slowly I’m seeing a shift in what we deem suitable for the office. As we’re given more freedom when it comes to what we wear to work, I’ve noticed women’s confidence increase when it comes to deciding what to wear each morning.

One of my absolute favourite jumpsuits right now is this gorgeous black and yellow number, which has tiny little confetti hearts scattered across it. Such a fun, subtle print. It’s completely appropriate for work due to the long sleeves and the fact it’s not too low at the front. Although it’s cut in a relaxed silhouette, it ties at the back to pull you in and define your waist. All you’ll need is a pair of high heels and you’re ready. That’s my favourite thing about jumpsuits, you can throw them on in the morning with little thought and you’re instantly ready for the day ahead!

As you know, I’m a huge fan of items that can take you from desk to drinks, and also the weekend too. This jumpsuit ticks all of those boxes, meaning you’ll get multiple wears through to Spring.
