What better way to celebrate Spring than an afternoon making Easter wreaths at the worlds most beautiful nursery in London?! Sounds totally cliche but that is exactly how I spent my Tuesday, and had such a fabulous time.
A bunch of us bloggers were invited to Petersham Nurseries by the lovely team at Olympus, where we learnt how to make Easter style wreaths, which I promptly hung onto my front door as soon as I got home (check it out below!)
I wore my new polka dot dress (I really do have a thing for anything dotty at the moment!), which is the perfect easy dress for throwing on in the morning for work with a pair of heels. Obviously my fav Aspinal of London Marylebone bag came along with me!
Whilst making the wreaths, we were taught all about the new goodies that Olympus have to offer, including the brand new macro lens (I took a picture to show you below), and the brand new Olympus PEN EPL-8. As I’m getting more and more into photography over the past couple of years, it was a great opportunity for me to get a refresher on how to work the settings from the Olympus gurus.
All photos in this post were taken on my Olympus PEN EPL-7, with the 45mm lens for outfit shots, and the 17mm lens for the wreath shot. The flower was obviously taken using the macro lens, and I couldn’t believe how it picked up every tiny little detail. A great little lens if you want to photograph dainty jewellery, detailed make up shots, basically anything you want to look extra sharp.
Links to my outfit are below in case you fancy a browse. I hope you have a fabulous weekend! xx
